My Tangles
I was introduced to Zentangle by my second cousin Michelle Robinson, a Certified Zentangle Teacher. I've always loved the idea of drawing and painting, but never was very good at it. My puppy dogs and horses and trees and people looked rudimentary, and somewhat Picasso-esque. In other words, warped. I had trouble mastering perspective, and really only succeeded when I closely copied someone else's work. But Zentangle is different. It's a method of drawing that fills space with patterns that can be accomplished one stroke at a time. There are infinite possibilities of what you can create with patterns and space.

Paper Quilling
I began paper quilling during the COVID-19 pandemic. It quickly became a favorite past-time. I cranked out flowers and mandalas and Christmas ornaments over the course of several months, and have enjoyed sharing them with friends, co-workers, and family. The pictures are better than any words I could use to describe them...
